CHILD FIND SYSTEM
Designed to locate, identify, and evaluate
children who may have a disability and be in need of Special
Education or 504 services.
EFFORTS:
• TPS will use screening information, student records, and basic assessment information to locate children who may have a disability and need Special Education or 504 services.
• TPS will make sure a child enrolled
in its District, who qualifies, is provided appropriate services at no cost to the parents.
WHO:
• Children ages 3-21 who reside in the District
• Students who are in public, private, or home schools.
• Children who are not currently attending school.
