ONLINE PROPOSALS for Metroparks Toledo Glass City Riverwalk Maritime Plaza Lighting Project, Lucas County, Ohio, will be received until September 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., local time, at which time all bids will be publicly opened / shared through the PlanetBids website.
THE SCOPE OF WORK consists of demolition of existing conduit and light fixtures with construction and installation of new service, lighting, and lighting controls at Glass City Riverwalk.
In accordance with R.C. 307.87 this notice is available online, and Bidders may obtain contract documents/ additional information at, www.metroparkstoledo.com/bids and following the Current Opportunities link.
SUBMISSION: Bids for this Project will be accepted via e-bid only through the Metroparks’ PlanetBids portal. Each bidder shall be responsible for submitting its electronic bid before the bid deadline.
EACH BIDDER MUST FURNISH a bid guaranty either in the form of (1) a bond for the full amount of the bid or (2) a certified check, cashier’s check or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid with its bid. The successful bidder must furnish a 100 percent (100%) Performance Bond.
No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
THE BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS OF THE METROPOLITAN PARK DISTRICT OF THE TOLEDO AREA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bidding.
