A Love Story That Spans Seven Decades
This week, we joyfully celebrate the
remarkable milestone of our beloved parents, Edward and Sharon
Zak as they mark 70 years of marriage - a true testament to love,
commitment, and partnership.
Married on September 15, 1956 at St.
Anthony Catholic Church in Temperance Michigan, Mom and Dad began
their journey together with little more than hope in their hearts
and dreams for the future. Over the years, they built a life
filled with laughter, hard work, and unwavering devotion - not
only to each other but to their family. They renewed their
original vows on September 12th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel
Church in Temperance Michigan.
Through life’s joys and challenges,
they have been each other’s greatest supporters. Their love
has been the steady anchor for our family, guiding us with their
example of patience, kindness, and faith.
From raising 3 children to welcoming 9
grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, their legacy is one of
love that continues to grow with each generation.
We, their children - Ed, Cheryl and Vicki
- are grateful for the lessons they’ve taught us: that love
is a choice you make every day, that laughter is the best
medicine, and that family is life’s greatest blessing.
Happy 70th Anniversary, Mom and Dad. Your
story of 70 years is an inspiration, and your love a wonderful
gift.
With all our love,
Your Children and Families
