Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of Ordinance 302-26 of the City Council of the City of Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, passed on the 14th day of July, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people of the City of Toledo at the GENERAL ELECTION to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November, 2026, the question of amending Chapter I, Section 6; Chapter IV, Section 33; and Chapter VIII, Section 171 of the Charter of the City of Toledo to revise provisions concerning City Council officers and employees, including their classification in the unclassified service and City Council’s authority over their conditions of employment.

The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
