Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of Ordinance 304-26 of the City Council of the City of Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, passed on the 14th day of July, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people of the City of Toledo at the GENERAL ELECTION to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November, 2026, the question of amending Chapter III, Sections 14 and 17 of the Charter of the City of Toledo to revise candidate filing and write-in requirements to conform with state law; and Chapter VI, Sections 83 and 92 of the Charter of the City of Toledo to increase from 75 to 90 days the period for holding elections on initiative or referendum petitions; and require petitions to use forms prescribed by the state.

The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
