Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of Ordinance 305-26 of the City Council of the City of Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, passed on the 14th day of July, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people of the City of Toledo at the GENERAL ELECTION to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November, 2026, the question of amending Chapter I, Section 5 of the Charter of the City of Toledo to require City Council to submit proposed Charter amendments by ordinance rather than resolution and to revise the procedures governing Charter amendments.

The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
