Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of Ordinance 026-2026 of the City Council of the City of Maumee, Lucas County, Ohio, passed on the 13th day of July, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people of the City of Maumee at the GENERAL ELECTION to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November, 2026, the question of amending Article VIII, Section 2 of the Charter of the City of Maumee to require nominating petitions and statements of candidacy to use forms prescribed by the Ohio Secretary of State and comply with state law; and Article VIII, Section 3 of the Charter of the City of Maumee to provide for non-partisan primary elections on dates prescribed by state law when the applicable candidate threshold is met.

The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
