Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of Ordinance 026-2026 of the City Council of the City of Maumee, Lucas County, Ohio, passed on the 13th day of July, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people of the City of Maumee at the GENERAL ELECTION to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November, 2026, the question of amending Article XIII, Section 5 of the Charter of the City of Maumee to provide that an elective office shall not become vacant because of qualifying military service; and to authorize City Council to appoint a temporary replacement with full voting rights when the officeholder’s absence exceeds ninety days.

The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
