Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of Ordinance 026-2026 of the City Council of the City of Maumee, Lucas County, Ohio, passed on the 13th day of July, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people of the City of Maumee at the GENERAL ELECTION to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November, 2026, the question of amending Article IX, Section 3 of the Charter of the City of Maumee to revise procedures for the recall and removal of Council Members and the Mayor, including petition, signature, filing, certification and election requirements; limitations on recall proceedings; nomination and ballot procedures; filling vacancies resulting from recall; and reimbursement of certain election expenses.

The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
